Note.—If any Vessel lying alongside the Wharf, shall receive any Goods or Stock, otherwise than from or upon the Wharf, half wharfage shall be charged on all such Goods or Stock so received or discharged.

STORAGE.

Any Coal or other Goods remaining on the platform more than forty-eight hours after landing, to pay at the rate of One shilling per ton for every week or part of a week.

The Nelson Provincial Council Buildings (depicted) were constructed beginning with the laying of the foundation stone on 26 August 1859, with the first Council meeting held there on 30 April 1861.

The buildings served Nelson for over a century before being demolished on 12 September 1969.
