The boundaries are the Sandy point
opposite the entrance on the
south side; Wanganui Inlet on
the west side; the valley leading
to Pakawau on the north side;
and a high ridge on the east side;
the length from north to south
about four miles, and the distance
back to the range or ridge one
mile.
Estimated extent, about 2,500 acres.

FIELD—District, Blind Bay.
Bounded on the northward, partly
by the sold land in Awarua and
partly by high-water mark in the
said Bay; on the eastward, by
the high-water mark of the coast-
line of Tasman Bay from Abel
Head to the mouth of the River
Marahau in Sandy Bay; south-

ward, partly by sections 1, 117,
118, and 119, Marahau, and partly
by high-water mark, Sandy Bay;
and on the westward, by a
straight line from the western
angle of section 119, Marahau,
to the western angle of section 7,
Awarua.
Estimated extent, 20,000 acres.
Deposit paid, £30.

W. GIBBS—District, Tasman and Golden
Bay.
All that coast line lying between
the mouth of the Wainui and
Awarua Rivers; bounded on the
north, east, and west by the sea;
on the south-west, by the little
river Awarua, following the same
to its source, from that along the
water-shed to the source of the
River Wainui, and continuing
along the same to its mouth.
Estimated extent, 6,000 acres.
Deposit paid, £10.
