APPLICATIONS FOR DEPASTURAGE LICENSES, in accordance with the Regulations under the Waste Lands Act, 1858, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands during the Month of JULY, 1862.

A. RUTHERFORD—District, the Amuri.
Boundaries—On the east, by a stream running into the Lottery, about half-a-mile west of the Lottery Bush, running up the said stream about three miles, thence westerly about two miles, forming the northern boundary; on the south, by the Lottery about three miles up the stream from the eastern boundary; and west, by a line joining the north and south boundaries.
Estimated extent, 6,000.
Deposit paid, £10.

THOMAS ASKEW—District, the Croixelles.
Bounded on the northward, partly by Dora Bay and partly by a stream running into the Wai-tata Bay; eastward, by the Pelorus Sound; southward, by a line
