August 29, 1861.

NOTICE is hereby given, that
the undermentioned ALLOTMENTS
of LAND will be put up to Auction, at the
Crown Land Office, Nelson, on Saturday,
the 5th of October, 1861, at Twelve o'clock
noon.

Ten per cent. of the purchase money to be
deposited at the Sale, and the remainder to
be paid within one month, or the deposit for-
feited.

reservation for right of roads, the deductions
for which have been made in the prices as
provided in the 44th clause of the Land
Regulations.

AGE LICENSES, in accordance with
the Regulations under the Waste
Lands Act, 1858, received by the Com-
missioner of Crown Lands during the
Month of AUGUST, 1861.

JAMES JOHN ROCHFORT — District, The
Buller.

Boundaries. On the west, by bush
at the foot of the Papahua range;
north and north-east, by the
south bank of the River Nguka-
waho, to about where the open
land crosses the same river about
8 miles up, where boundary
crosses and takes the edge of
bush to complete this boundary,
and following the bush edge also
at foot of Papahua range to com-
plete the easterly and southerly
boundaries.

Extent, 30,000 acres.
Deposit paid, £50.
