of the Regulations for the Sale and Disposal
of the Waste Lands of the Crown in the Pro-
vince of Nelson:—

A block of 284 acres, between the Maitai
river and Brook-street Valley, Nelson, being
Sections, Nos. 14 and 15, of Square, No. 8, of
the map of the province of Nelson.

A block of 18 acres, being a portion of Sec-
tion No. 8, of Square, No. 8, at the junction of
the northern and southern branches of the
River Maitai.

A block of land on the West bank of the
Upper Wairau river, bounded on the East by
the river from a point one mile and a half
below Hamilton stream to a stream about three
miles and a half above Hamilton stream; on
the West by the summit of the mountains ad-
joining the Wairau river; and on the North
and South by straight lines connecting the
East and West boundaries.

A block of land five miles long, by three
broad, comprising the valley of the Upper
Wairau, commencing two miles below Boun-
dary Creek, at Tarndale, and including the two
pieces of bush on the western side of the Wai-
rau river; but exclusive of any land comprised
in Mr. C. Saxton\'s depasturing license.

A block of 100 acres in Tarndale, forming a
parallelogram on the North and South sides of
Fish Lake.

A block of land, five miles square, including
the valleys of the Upper Alma river and its
branches; the north-eastern side of the block
crossing the Alma at the point where the south-
eastern boundary of Mr. C. Saxton\'s run
crosses it.

A block of land on the West bank of the
Acheron, bounded on the North by the Yarra
stream, from its junction with the Acheron, to
a point about half a mile up the Yarra; on
the West by a line from the last named point
to the summit of the hills adjoining the Ache-
ron on that side, and thence along the sum-
mit of those hills; on the East by the Acheron
from the Yarra to a point half a mile below
the junction of the guide river; and on the
South by a line joining the East and West
boundaries.

A block of land on the North bank of the
Clarence river, above the junction of the
Acheron, from the said junction to the junc-
tion of a small stream flowing from the West-
ward into the Clarence, so as to include the
bush near the said stream.

A block of 2,560 acres, around and including
the hot springs on the Hanmer Plain, near
Jollie\'s Pass; forming a parallelogram at the
base of the hills bounding the plain on the
North.

A rocky island near the southern entrance of
the Lower Gorge of the Waiau-ua, or Dillon
river.

A block of £500 acres on the left bank of
the Hurunui river, opposite the spot where the
new line of road from Canterbury joins the
ford over that river; and on each side of the
main line from Nelson to the same ford.

that the orders of the Justices of the Peace,
dated the Fifth day of December, 1859, for the
ALTERATION of the following ROADS, viz.:—

  1. A Road in Bridge Valley, Waimea
    South,

  2. A Road in Appleby, Waimea East,
    as the said alterations were defined in the no-
    tice of Thomas John Thompson, Surveyor,
    dated the Nineteenth day of October, 1859,
    have been confirmed by the Superintendent
    and Executive Council.
