ALTERATION OF ROADS.
THE undersigned hereby gives notice, that he intends to APPLY to two or more Justices of the Peace having jurisdiction within the Province of Nelson, at a sitting to be held on MONDAY, the 17th day of December now next, at the Court House, Richmond, for an ORDER for STOPPING UP the undermentioned ROADS; and further, that he will cause a survey plan of the roads proposed to be stopped up, together with a book of reference and estimate, to be deposited, on or before the 5th day of November next, with the Clerk to the Magistrates at Richmond, and with Mr. GEORGE WALKER, constable for Waimea West.
To stop up a certain road in Waimea-west, commencing at the north corner of Section 120, and proceeding 60 chains in a south-west direction to the intersection of a certain other road at right angles thereto. Also another part of the first mentioned road, commencing at the south-west side of the intersecting road, and proceeding 21 chains south-west, and 35 chains west-north-west, between Sections 137, 138, 140, and 5. Also that portion of the said intersecting road, 34Β½ chains long, lying between Sections 5 and 6 and the before recited roads.

THE undersigned hereby gives notice, that he intends to APPLY to two or more Justices of the Peace having jurisdiction within the Province of Nelson, at a sitting to be held on MONDAY, the 17th day of December now next, at the Court House, Richmond, for an ORDER for STOPPING UP and DIVERTING, and also for MAKING the undermentioned ROADS : and further, that he will cause survey plans of the several roads proposed to be stopped up, substituted, and made, together with books of reference and estimates, to be deposited, on or before the 5th day of November next, with the Clerk to the Magistrates at Richmond, and with Mr. THOMAS ANDREWS, Constable for Waimea South :β
To stop up a certain road in Waimea-south commencing at the south corner of Section 27, and proceeding through the said section 26 chains N.W., and terminating at a public road on the E. bank of the Wai-iti river, excepting the portion where the proposed substituted road will intersect this said road.
And to substitute a road 75 links wide, commencing at the S. boundary of the said Section 27, about two-and-a-half chains from its southernmost corner, and proceeding through the said section six chains N., and 11 chains W.N.W., and terminating at the aforesaid road on the E. bank of the Wai-iti: Also to continue the road from the above-mentioned intersection along the present bank of the Wairoa river 45 chains N.N.E., thence 21 chains N.W. across the said Section, and terminating at the E. bank of the Wai-iti.
