districts as shall be proclaimed by the Super-
intendent in the Government Gazette for the
province, upon the request of a majority of
the resident electors in such districts:
Now, therefore, I, the said Superintendent,
at the request of a majority of the resident
electors of the Town of Collingwood, Golden
Bay, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
said Act shall come into operation in the said
Town of Collingwood on and after the 10th
day of August next.
Given under my hand and issued under
the Public Seal of the Province, at Nel-
son, this Thirteenth day of July, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and sixty.

Peace, dated at Richmond, the 21st day of
May, 1860, for the Alteration of Roads in
Eighty-eight Valley, Waimea-south, as de-
scribed in the notice of T. J. THOMPSON,
Surveyor to the Waimea-road Board, dated
23rd March, 1860, and published in the Nel-
son Gazette, No. 5, of the 28th March, 1860,
have been confirmed by the Superintendent
and Executive Council as required by the
"Alteration of Roads Ordinance, 1854."

dated the Twentieth day of March, 1860, and
published in the Nelson Gazette, No. 5, of the
28th March, 1860, and the Order of the Jus-
tices of the Peace, dated the 11th day of July,
1860, for the stopping up of a portion of Nga-
tiawa-street, in the said City of Nelson, as
described in the notice of ALFRED GEORGE
JENKINS, dated the Twenty-third day of May,
1860, and published in the Nelson Gazette,
No. 8, of the 30th May, 1860, have been con-
firmed by the Superintendent and Executive
Council, as required by the "Alteration of
Roads Act, 1854."
