NOTICE is hereby given, that the PARTNERSHIP lately subsisting between the undersigned, as Mill Sawyers and Timber Dealers, at Motupipi, has been this DAY DISSOLVED by mutual consent.
As witness our hands this 21st day of October, 1858.

ALTERATION OF ROADS.
NOTICE is hereby given, that application is intended to be made by the undersigned to two or more Justices of the Peace having jurisdiction within the Province of Nelson, at a sitting to be held on MONDAY, the 31st day of January now next, at the Court House, Richmond, for an order for STOPPING UP and DIVERTING and also for MAKING the undermentioned ROADS. And notice is hereby further given, that the undersigned will cause survey plans of the several roads proposed to be stopped up, substituted, and made, together with books of reference and estimates, to be deposited with the Clerk to the Magistrates at Richmond, and with Mr. THOMAS ANDREWS, constable for the district of Waimea South, Mr. WILLIAM STANTON, constable for Waimea East, and Mr. GEORGE WALKER, constable for Waimea West.
To stop up a certain road in Waimea South, commencing on south side of a cross-road running from the Wai-iti to the hills, at about 10 chains west of J. Curran's corner, and proceeding 103 chains in a south-south-west direction, through Sections 142 to 150 inclusive; thence 37 chains in a south-west direction, through Sections 151, 152, and 153, and terminating at the Wai-iti river;
And to substitute in the place thereof a certain other road 60 links wide, commencing at the said cross-road at the termination of the trunk-road already formed at John Curran's corner and proceeding 34 chains in a south-west direction, through Sections 142, 143, and 144 to the water-course (being a portion of the road at present in use); thence 14 1/2 chains in a south direction, through 144 and 145; thence 110 chains in a south-south-west direction, through 145 to 153 inclusive, 155, and 156; thence 9 chains in a south-west direction, through waste land of the Crown to the Wai-iti; and thence 12 chains west-north-west direction, through 157, and thence terminating at the present trunk-road.
Also, to make a road, 75 links wide, in Waimea South, commencing on the east side of a certain road passing between Sections 1, 30, 31, 32, and 33, at about 31 chains from the south-east corner of 33 and proceeding 10 1/2 chains in an easterly direction through the said Section 1, till it meets the Wairoa river at Bush's Ford, and there terminating.
Also, to make a road, 75 links wide, in Waimea East, commencing at the west side of the trunk-line, at a point 26 1/2 chains south of the north-east corner of Section 170, and proceeding 20 chains in a westerly direction, till it meets a certain other road on the bank of the Wairoa, near Bush's Ford, and there terminating.
Also, to make a certain other road in Waimea East, 75 links wide, commencing at the west side of a certain road passing between Sections 184, 186, and 187, at about 3 chains north of the west corner of 184, and proceeding about 10 chains in a westerly direction through 187, till it meets a certain other road on the bank of the Waimea, and there terminating.
Also, to stop up a certain road in Waimea West, commencing 4 1/2 chains from the south boundary of Section 56, and proceeding 10 1/2 chains in a north-north-east direction through Section 56 to its north boundary, and there terminating.
And to substitute in place thereof a certain other road, 75 links wide, commencing at the same point as the road proposed to be stopped up, proceeding 11 chains in a north-easterly direction through the said section, till it meets a certain other road passing along the east boundary of the said section on the bank of the Waimea river, and there terminating.
Also, to stop up part of a certain road in Waimea West between sections 147, 132, 133, and 157, commencing at the north-west corner of Section 133, and proceeding 37 1/2 chains in a south-west direction, and there terminating 7 1/2 chains beyond the north-west corner of Section 157.
Also, to stop up another part of the same road, adjoining Section 157, commencing 6 chains south of the last-named part described as to be stopped up, and proceeding 3 1/2 chains in a south-west direction, and there terminating.
And to substitute in the place thereof a certain other road, 75 links in width, commencing and terminating at the same points as the first-named road, and proceeding 37 chains in a similar direction, nearly coinciding with the thoroughfares Sections 132, 147, and 157. And also, a certain other road, 75 links wide, commencing and terminating at the same points as the second-named road, and proceeding 3 1/2 chains in a similar direction, alongside of the same, through Section 157.
