HIS Honour the Superintendent directs it to be notified that, in accordance with the provisions of the fourteenth clause of an Act passed by the General Assembly of New Zealand, in its second session, intituled, "The Nelson Trust Funds Act, 1854," he has appointed
HENRY COOPER DANIELL, Esq., and
ROBERT POLLOCK, Esq.,
Auditors of the Trust Accounts for the current year.

ELECTION OF TRUSTEES AND AUDITORS UNDER THE "NELSON TRUST FUNDS ACT."
WHEREAS WRITS under the hand of his Honour JOHN PERRY ROBINSON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, bearing date the Sixth day of December, 1858, have been directed to me, JOHN POYNTER, Esquire, Returning Officer, requiring and commanding me to cause to be ELECTED by and from amongst the voters duly qualified for that purpose, freely and indifferently, persons to serve as TRUSTEES, and TWO persons to serve as AUDITORS, under the above-mentioned Act:
Now, therefore, I, the said John Poynter, do hereby, in pursuance of the said writs, give notice, that SATURDAY, the First day of January next, 1859, is appointed for the NOMINATION to take place, at Noon, at the Court House, Nelson; and, in the event of a poll being demanded, I hereby further appoint MONDAY, the 22nd day of January next, for the POLLING to take place.
The polling to commence at Ten o'clock in the forenoon, and close at Four o'clock in the afternoon of the same day.

HIS Honour the Superintendent directs it to be notified, that the undermentioned TENDERS have been ACCEPTED for works on the WAITOHI ROAD.
Robert Blaymires: From the terminus of the town sections to the Koromiko stream, for the sum of Β£390.
William Strachan: From the Koromiko stream to the river Wairau, for the sum of Β£2,550.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the PARTNERSHIP formerly subsisting between the undersigned, as Mill Sawyers and Timber Dealers, at Motupipi, was DISSOLVED by mutual consent, on the 5th day of February, 1856.
