CENSUS FOR 1856.
NOTICE is hereby given, that every
HOUSEHOLDER within the Province of
Nelson is required to be prepared on the 1st January
next, or so soon thereafter as he may be called upon
so to do by a collector to be appointed under the
Census Ordinance, to give all such information as is
required by the Schedule attached to such Ordinance,
which Schedule will be left with such householder on
or before the 31st instant.

from persons willing to undertake the duty of

with the provisions of the Census Ordinance, Session
II., No. 1:—
Waimea East
Waimea West
Waimea South
Motueka, Moutere, and Sandy Bay
Massacre Bay
Wairau.
