PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor EDWARD WILLIAM STAFFORD, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Islands of New Zealand.
I, THE SUPERINTENDENT of the Province of Nelson, do hereby proclaim that the Allotments of Land specified in the accompanying Schedule will be put up to Auction, at the Crown Land Office, Nelson, on THURSDAY, the 19th day of April, 1855, at Twelve o'clock.
Ten per cent. of the purchase-money may be deposited at the sale, and the remainder paid within one month, or the deposit forfeited.
Given under my hand, at Nelson, in the Province of Nelson aforesaid, this sixteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified, for general information, that a Writ for the election of a Member of the Provincial Council, for the undermentioned district, in the Province of Nelson, having been issued, in accordance with the provisions of an Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand, the Returning Officer of the said district has returned the said Writ,
