Superintendent's Office, Nelson,
August 21, 1854.

HIS Honor the Superintendent has been pleased to direct that the Accounts of the Receipts and Expenditure of the Public Moneys of the PROVINCE, from the 1st day of January, 1854, to the 30th day of June, 1854, be submitted to the Board of Audit, on WEDNESDAY, the 30th day of August instant, that the same may be audited.

PUBLIC WORKS.

Superintendent's Office, Nelson,
August 21, 1854.

TENDERS will be received at this Office, on or before the 4th of September next, from persons desirous of contracting to execute the undermentioned WORKS, viz.:β€”

Metalling the Haven Road, near Green Point,
Forming Waimea Street, from Nile Street to the Haven Road,
Forming and Metalling portions of Road near Richmond,
Metalling the Road from Spring Grove School to "Forty Line,"
Forming and Metalling the Road through Maddox's Bush.

Specifications and Forms of Tender may be seen at this Office.
