✨ Depasturing Lease Applications

Crown Lands Office,
Blenheim, 18th March, 1875.

THE following Applications for Depasturing Leases have been received by me in accordance with "The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867":—

William Adams.—District of North Bank of Wairau. Boundaries: On the North and West by unoccupied Crown land; on the South by the North Bank Run; and on the East by the Hillersden Cattle Run, so as to include all the Crown land within the boundaries of the Oddstone Run, as defined in the license issued to Charles Timms on 19th October, 1860. Estimated extent: 4,400 acres. Deposit paid: £10.

William Atkinson.—District of Clarence. Boundaries: North by the summit of the Kaikoura Range; East by the Ottley Fell Run No. 3, and freehold land; North by the river Gloucester to the Clarence; East by the river Clarence to the boundary of the Province; South by the Province of Nelson; West by the North Clarence Run No. 3 to the summit of the Kaikoura Range. Estimated extent: 30,000 acres. Deposit paid: £60.

Thomas Gould.—District of Pelorus Sound. Boundaries: East and North by the Sea; West by Section No. 145, Nydia Bay; South by Crown land to the Sea, being a peninsula lying between Maori Bay and Bradshaw’s Mistake. Estimated extent: 500 acres. Deposit paid: £5.
