District of Omaka, and situate at the
North-west corner of the said section,
having been conveyed to the Superin-
tendent for public purposes, has been set
apart as a Public Cemetery.

NOTICE is hereby given, that it is the
intention of his Honor the Superin-
tendent to introduce into the Provincial
Council, at its next sitting, a Bill to
authorise the compulsory taking of land
under "The Provincial Compulsory Land
Taking Act, 1866," for the purpose of
making a Road through Section num-
bered 55 on the Langley Dale Run, in the
District of North Bank of Wairau ; and it
is also hereby notified that Plans and
Books of Reference shewing the lands pro-
posed to be taken, colored pink, have been
deposited with the Speaker of the Provin-
cial Council, the Commissioner of Crown
Lands, and at the House of Messrs Court
and Venimore, Rock Ferry.
