NOTICE is hereby given that the
12 SECTIONS of LAND in the District of Kaikoura Suburban, advertised for Sale by Auction, on WEDNESDAY, 27th November, have been WITHDRAWN from SALE in accordance with Clause 21 of "The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867."

IN accordance with Clause 8 of "The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867," it is hereby notified that the following LANDS have been RESERVED under Clause 7 of the said Act:—

Section 158 District of Omaka, 142 acres, as a Resting place for Stock.
Section 275 District of Kaikoura Suburban, 72 acres, for purposes of public utility.

The undersigned, William Welford, make application to register "The Turner Gold Mining Company, Registered," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865," "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869," and "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1870," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following Statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Turner Gold Mining Company, Registered."
  2. The place of operation is Ravescliff Gold Field, Marlborough.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Ten Thousand Pounds in Two Thousand shares of Five Pounds each.
  4. The amount already paid up is Four Hundred Pounds.
  5. The name of the Manager is William Welford.
  6. The Office of the Company is at Wellington-street, Picton.
  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follows:
