WHEREAS the Rent due under a
Depasturing Licence dated the
15th day of February, 1867, on that part
of the Spring Valley Run, in the District
of North Bank of Wairau, estimated to
contain 986 Acres, the boundaries whereof
are stated below, has been in arrear since
1st January, 1872:
Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM HENRY
EYES, the Commissioner of Crown Lands
for the Province of Marlborough, do
hereby declare that the said Licence, so
far as it relates to the Land within the
following boundaries, is forfeited, viz.:
On the South by Fabian’s Valley Creek
and Sections 21 of Block 1 and 42;
on the East by a right line in a
Northerly direction, along the
other part of Spring Valley Run;
on the North by a right line 157
chains along unoccupied Crown
Lands to Fabian’s Valley Creek,
Dated at the Crown Lands Office, Blen-
heim, this First day of May, 1872.

This Notice is republished, in consequence
of the word “Kaituna” having been
omitted from it as published in Gazette
No. 227.

IN accordance with Section 7 of “The
Marlborough Waste Lands Act,
1867,” the Waste Lands Board has Re-
served the undermentioned Lands, in
order that they may be dealt with as
Suburban Sections, namely—
All Crown Lands situate within the
watershed of the Kaituna, Kaiuma,
and Pelorus Valleys.
