NOTICE.
I, THE Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Province of Marlborough, do hereby give notice that at Noon on Wednesday, the First day of May next, the Allotments of Town Land, Suburban Land, and Rural Land, set forth in the Schedule hereunto annexed, will be put up to Auction, and offered for Sale by Public Competition, at the Survey Office, Blenheim, in the said Province, at the upset prices mentioned in the said Schedule, in accordance with the provisions of “The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867.”
Ten per cent. of the purchase money must be deposited at the Sale, and the remainder within One Month, or the deposit will be forfeited.
Dated at the Crown Lands Office, Blenheim, in the said Province, this 26th day of March, 1872.

IN accordance with the provisions of Clause XXIX. of “The Gold Fields Act, 1869,” it is hereby notified that at the expiration of Two Months from this date, his Honor the Superintendent will, by virtue of the powers delegated to him in that behalf, issue Gold Mining Leases of the undermentioned Blocks of Land within the limits of the Ravenscliff Gold Field, Queen Charlotte Sound, to the following persons :—
Charles Henry Turner, Richard Nicholls, and Charles James Greenlaw, under the name or style of “Turner’s Gold Mining Company (Limited).” Area: 16 acres, 2 roods, and 5 perches.
Walter Thomas, James Andhill, and Frederick Suisted, under the name or style of “The Queen Charlotte Gold Mining Company (Limited).” Area: 11 acres, 2 roods, 20 perches.
Josiah Harris, and William Clark, under the name or style of “The Port Gore Gold Mining Company (Limited).” Area: 7 acres.
