Blenheim, 5th February, 1872.

TO ALL PERSONS WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.

I HEREBY give notice that the following Applications for Gold Mining Leases of Land on the Ravenscliff Gold Field, were this day made to his Honor the Superintendent, and that any person desiring to object to the issue of such Leases, must within twenty-one clear days from the date of this notice, forthwith enter his objection at this office.

  1. Charles Henry Turner, Richard Nicholls, and Charles James Greenlaw, resident at Queen Charlotte Sound, have applied for 16 acres, situate near Waihi Point.

  2. Walter Thomas, and James Andril, resident at Big Bush, Blenheim, and Frederick Suisted, resident at Picton, have applied for 16 acres, situate immediately adjoining the lease applied for by Messrs Turner, Nicholls, and Greenlaw, extending down the S.E. slope of the Cape Jackson main range.

  3. Josiah Harris, resident at Onamalutu, and William Clark, resident at Picton, have applied for 10 acres, situate immediately adjoining the North-west boundary of the claim applied for by Messrs Turner, Nicholls, and Greenlaw.

And I further give notice that the said land is exempted from occupation for any purpose whatsoever, until the said applications have been finally dealt with.

If not claimed, and all expenses paid, by Friday, February 9th, will be sold.
