NOTICE UNDER "THE SCAB ACT, 1871."

Superintendent’s Office,
Blenheim, January 10th, 1872.

PURSUANT to the provisions of Clause 4 of "The Scab Act, 1871," Notice is hereby given that every Sheep-owner within the Province is required to furnish me, on or before Tuesday, the 2nd day of January instant, with a RETURN of the Number of SHEEP SHORN by him during the preceding twelve months.

HIS Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to make the following appointment under "The Crown Lands Act, 1869" viz.:

William Henry Eyes, Esq.,
to be Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Province of Marlborough. This appointment dates from the 11th instant.
