NOTICE UNDER “THE SCAB ACT, 1871.”

Superintendent’s Office,
Blenheim, January 10th, 1872.

IN ACCORDANCE with the provisions of Clause 3 of “The Scab Act, 1871,” I hereby appoint that a MEETING of SHEEPOWNERS shall take place in the Districts set forth and described in Schedule A. to the said Act, and at the respective places hereinafter mentioned, on Friday, the Twenty-sixth day of January instant, at the hour of 12 o’clock noon, for the Election of one or more Persons to be a Member or Members of the Board, according to Schedule A. to the said Act—

DISTRICT OF PICTON—One Member—At the house of Mr Wyvill, Raydale.

DISTRICT OF WAIRAU—Two Members—At the School-house, Renwick.

DISTRICT OF KAIKOURA—One Member—At the Court-house, Kaikoura Township.

DISTRICT OF AWATERE—Two Members—At the house of Mr Stace, Starborough.
