I hereby notify, for general information, that I have appointed
JAMES BALFOUR WEMYSS, Esquire,
a Member of the Executive Council of the Province of Marlborough.

It is hereby notified, for public information, that the Stockyard of Mr
GILBERT TEMPLETON, Awatere, has been appointed a Public Pound, under the provisions of "The Impounding Ordinance, 1847," and that the said Mr Gilbert Templeton has been appointed Poundkeeper.

Boundaries—North by a road along sections 10, 11, 6 and 5, Upton Fells Run; north-east by Upton Fells Run; south by land applied for by J. C. Chaytor; west by unoccupied Crown Land.
Estimated extent—2,400 acres
Deposit paid—£4.

Phillip Roderick M’Rae and Nehemiah M’Rae,
District of Awatere.
Boundaries—North by Hen. Mrs. Dillon’s Run, unoccupied Crown Land, and the Blairich Run; north-east by Blairich Run; south-east by the Awatere Shearing Reserve; south-west and west by the River Penk and unoccupied Crown Land.
Estimated extent—9,530 acres
Deposit paid—£20.
