IT is hereby notified, for public information, that the Stockyard of Mr. W. Ockley, at Wairau Valley, has been appointed a Public Pound, under the provisions of the Impounding Ordinance, 1867, and that Mr. W. Ockley has been appointed Poundkeeper.

In the matter of the Bankruptcy Act, 1867; and the Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act, 1868; and in the matter of the Estate of Joseph Dempsey, of Blenheim, in the Province of Marlborough, and Colony of New Zealand, Saddler, a Bankrupt,
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a Meeting of the Creditors of the said Bankrupt, held at the Council Chambers, Blenheim aforesaid, on the Eighth day of December, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, William Collie, of Blenheim, aforesaid, Stationer, was chosen by the said creditors to be the Trustee of the Estate and Effects of the said Bankrupt; and by an order of the said Court, bearing date the said Eighth day of December, the choice of said Trustee by the said Creditors was confirmed.
Dated this ninth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

IT is hereby notified, for public information, that the Goodwill of the Lease for Fourteen Years of the Government Reserve of 1500 acres, on the South side of the Clarence River, will be submitted to public competition, at the Survey Office, Blenheim, on Tuesday, the 22nd December, at 12 noon. Upset Price, £50
Conditions of Lease may be ascertained at this Office.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the above-named Thomas Wall, did, on Wednesday, the sixteenth day of December, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, file at the office of the Supreme Court, at Blenheim, a declaration pursuant to the 45th Section of the Bankruptcy Act, 1867, that he is unable to meet his engagements with his Creditors.
