THE following Applications for Pastoral Leases have been received by me, in accordance with "The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867":—

Boundaries—Commencing at Oporui or Lydia Bay; thence Eastward by high-water mark to the mouth of a stream in the next bay; thence by that stream for 20 chains; and thence by a right line for about 190 chains Westerly to Section 103; and thence along that Section to the commencing point.
Estimated extent—1,700 acres.
Deposit paid—£4.

Boundaries—On the North by Mahau Sound and Section 2; on the North-East by Blencathra Run; on the East by Section 95, and Land granted to J. Toms; on the South by freehold and surveyed Sections, Mahakipawa; and on the West by Land applied for by John Cawte.
Estimated extent—3,224 acres.
Deposit paid—£8.

Boundaries—Northward by a public Road, fronting Sections 52 and 44, and Land purchased by J. Toms; thence by May Bank Run, 7,000 links; thence by a line bearing S. 13° 40' E. 16,450 links; thence by a line bearing W. 13° 40' S. 16,370 links; and thence by a line bearing N. 13° 40' W. in transit with a line between Sections 18 and 42 in the said district.
