PROCLAMATION.
BY His Honor WILLIAM HENRY EYES,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Marlborough.
WHEREAS, the several Sections and
Blocks of Land in the Province of
Marlborough, as mentioned in the Schedule
hereunto annexed, have been from time to
time set aside by the different Superintendents of the said province as Reserves for
the purposes of Education: And whereas
it is provided by the fifth clause of "The
Waste Lands Regulations, 1856" that "all
such Reserves shall be notified in the
Government Gazette of the Province :" And
whereas no such notification
has been
made :
Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM HENRY EYES,
Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of
Marlborough, in pursuance of the provisions
of the said Regulations, do hereby proclaim
and notify that the several Sections and
Blocks of Land specified in the Schedule
hereto annexed, have been set aside as
Reserves for the purposes of Education in
the Province of Marlborough.
