PROCLAMATION.

By his Honor William Henry Eyes,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Marlborough, in the
Colony of New Zealand, &c., &c.,
&c.

I

WILLIAM HENRY EYES, Esquire,
do hereby, in virtue of the power
vested in me in this behalf by the "Superintendent’s Deputy Act, 1856," of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, appoint
and proclaim

Henry Godfrey, Esquire, M.P.C.,
of Woodbourne, Wairau Plain, to be my
Deputy; and, as such, to perform and exercise all such acts and powers, as by the
said Act, I am empowered to confer upon a
Deputy.

Given under my hand, and issued
under the public Seal of the
Province of Marlborough, at
Blenheim, this sixth day of
July, One thousand eight
hundred and sixty-six.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor William Henry Eyes,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Marlborough, in New
Zealand.

In pursuance of the powers vested in me
as Superintendent of the Province of
Marlborough, I do hereby proclaim and
declare that the Buildings in the Town of
Blenheim, in the said Province, proclaimed
as a Public Gaol, in the "Marlborough
Provincial Gazette," of the 15th February,
1865, shall cease to be a Public Gaol, after
the 1st of August next, and will thereafter
be used only as a Public Lock-up.

Given under my hand, and issued
under the Public Seal of the

at Blenheim, this eighteenth
day of May, One thousand
eight hundred and sixty-six.

Of the Appointment of an Inspector under
"The Diseased Cattle Act Amendment
Act, 1865."

By His Honor William Henry Eyes,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Marlborough, in the
Islands of New Zealand.

I

In exercise of the authority delegated to
me under the provisions of an Act of
the General Assembly of New Zealand,
entitled "The Diseased Cattle Act Amendment Act, 1865," I, William Henry Eyes,
Esq., Superintendent of the Province of
Marlborough, do hereby appoint

Mr. Thomas Peilpo...
of Picton, to be an Inspector under the
said Act, vice Mr. T. G. Baillie, deceased.

This Proclamation to take effect from the
first day of July, 1866.

Province of Marlborough, at
Blenheim, this sixth day of
July, One thousand eight
hundred and sixty-six.

It is hereby notified, for general information, that a Writ for the election of
One Member, to serve in the Provincial
Council of Marlborough, for the District of
Awatere, having been issued in accordance
with Clause 12 of "An Act to grant a
Representative Constitution to the Colony
of New Zealand," the Returning Officer
has returned the said Writ, with a Certificate,
that the undermentioned gentleman
has been duly elected to serve as a Member
of the said Provincial Council, for the said
District of Awatere...
