APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT.

PROCLAMATION

By His Honor Arthur Penrose Seymour,
Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in the Colony of New Zealand.

ARTHUR PENROSE SEYMOUR,
Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, do hereby, in virtue of the power vested in me by the Superintendent’s Deputy Act, 1856, of the General Assembly of New Zealand, proclaim and appoint

WILLIAM DOUGLAS HALL BAILLIE,
ESQUIRE, M.L.C.,
of Picton, to be my Deputy, and, as such, to perform and exercise all such acts and powers as by the said Act I am empowered to confer upon a Deputy.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Marlborough, this twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.
