PROVINCE OF MARLBOROUGH.
Crown Lands Office, Picton,
11th May, 1865.
In accordance with the provisions of the Land Regulations in force in this Province, I do hereby notify and declare that the Pasture Occupation License, dated 24th October, 1863, now standing in the name of Thomas Buxton, for a Run of Ten Thousand Acres, in Queen Charlotte Sound, bounded as follows:
Westward and Northward—By the waters of Queen Charlotte Sound, unoccupied Crown Land, a Maori Reserve, and the waters of Cook Strait.
Eastward and Southward—By the waters of Queen Charlotte Sound, a block of land claimed by Arther Elmsley, and a Government Reserve,
is, through non-compliance with the said regulations, forfeited; and I shall let the said run, to which the said license relates, by Public Auction (whereof one month’s notice shall be given) to the highest bidder, for a term of fourteen years, subject to the conditions of the said regulations.

APPLICATION for a Depasturage License received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, on the 3rd instant:—
Philip Roderick M’Rae and Nehemiah M’Rae.
District—Clarence.
Boundaries—North-east by the Camden and Braes of Sutherland Runs; North and North-east by the runs licensed to E. W. & H. L. Stafford; South-east by the Mead Hill and White Hills Runs; South-west by the country applied for by Williams Brothers, including the whole of the unoccupied country within the above limits.
Estimated Extent—Under 10,000 acres.
Deposit paid—£15.
