HIS HONOR the SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that the undermentioned portions of the Waste Lands of the Crown, within the province of Marlborough, as hereinafter described, have been reserved for various purposes of public utility:β€”


TOWN OF PICTON.

All those Allotments in the Town of Picton, being sections numbered respectively 499, 500, 501, 502, 503, 504, 505, 515, 523, 524, 530, 616, 957, 958, 959, 965, 967, 969, 971, 973, 975, 977, 979, 981, 983, 985, 989, 991, 993, 995, 997, 999, on the plan of the said town, containing by admeasurement, eight acres for Railway Purposes.


TOWN OF HAVELOCK.

All those Allotments in the Town of Havelock, being sections numbered respectively 57, 61 and 65 on the plan of the said town, containing by admeasurement, five acres, one rood and two perches, for Public Buildings.


VILLAGE OF TUAMARINA.

All those Allotments in the Village of Tuamarina, being sections numbered respectively 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, and 19 on the Plan of the said Village containing by admeasurement about two acres, three roods, and twenty-one perches for Railway Depot.


TOWN OF KAIKOURA.

All those Allotments in the Town of Kaikoura, being sections numbered respectively 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 on the Plan of the said Town containing by admeasurement four acres and one rood, for Government Building.

All those Allotments in the Town of Kaikoura, being sections numbered respectively 93, 95, 97, 99, 101 and 103 on the Plan of the said Town containing by admeasurement two acres and one rood, and twenty-four perches, for Police Station.


Also, section numbered 120 on the said Plan, containing three roods and twenty-two perches, as a Signal Station.

Also, all those sections numbered respectively 274, 275, 276, 277, and 278 on the said Plan, containing two acres and two roods, for a Gaol.


DISTRICT OF PICTON, SUBURBAN.

All that Block of Land adjoining the Town of Picton. Bounded towards the north and west by Crown Land, towards the east partly by Picton town sections numbered 997 and 999 and a public road, and towards the south by section numbered 12, Picton suburban, containing by admeasurement about 37 acres, as a Reserve for Timber.


DISTRICT OF QUEEN CHARLOTTE SOUND.

All that Block of Land at Cooper Point, Arapawa Island, bounded towards the north and east by a Maori Reserve, on the south by section No. 101, and towards the west by the sea.
Estimated Extent, about 40 acres, for Pilot and Signal Station.

All that Block of Land at Cape Koamoroo, Arapawa Island, bounded on the north, east, and west by the sea, and on the south by Maori Reserve, between points Opanaki and Otouga.
Estimated Extent, about 450 acres, for Pilot and Signal Station.

All that Block of Land comprising the frontage around Ship Cove and half a mile deep.
Estimated Extent, about 400 acres, for Pilot and Signal Station.

All that Block of Land on Blumine Island, bounded on the north, east, and west by the sea, and on the south partly by section No. 45 and Crown Land, being a straight line from coast to coast.
Estimated Extent, about 150 acres, for Pilot and Signal Station.

All that Block of Land at East Head, entrance of Tory Channel, bounded on the north by a line running due east from south-east corner of section No. 17, Okakari, until it intersects the sea coast, and on the east, south, and west by the sea.
Estimated Extent, about 150 acres.
