It is notified for general information that Publicans’ Special Licences have been granted by His Honor the Superintendent to the persons named herein.

PUBLICANS’ SPECIAL LICENSES.

HOURS OF BUSINESS AND CONDITIONS:

Six o’clock a.m. to 10 o’clock p.m. on Working Days, and 1 o’clock p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Christmas Day, and Good Friday.

That the houses contain one large general room, one sitting room, and four bedrooms, all properly furnished and always at liberty for the exclusive use of travellers.

That they provide a six stall stable and a good supply of hay and oats.

That persons on the public service be not charged more than one shilling and sixpence per meal and bed one shilling...

Extended time—6 o’clock a.m. to 12 p.m. on Working Days, in all other respects the same as above.

Besides the above, to keep a horse to convey persons across the Wairau River at one shilling each.

In default of compliance with any of the above conditions and notice thereof being given by me to the holder of any of the above mentioned Licences, the same will become void.
