HIS HONOUR the Superintendent directs it to be notified that the undermentioned portions of the Waste Lands of the Crown within the Province of Marlborough, as hereinafter described, have been reserved for various purposes of public utility:—
Pelorus Valley.
A block of land, situate in the Pelorus Valley, bounded on the North by sections Nos. 29 and 30; on the West by section No. 60; and on the South and East by Crown Land: containing about 115 acres for a resting place for stock.
A block of land, situate in the Pelorus Valley, being section No. 55, bounded on the North and West by section No. 48; on the South by section No. 53; and on the East by a public road on the left bank of the Pelorus river: containing about 5 acres.
Mahakipawa.
A block of land, situate in the District of Mahakipawa, being section No. 57, bounded on the North and East by a stream; on the South by section No. 24; and on the West by the waters of the Pelorus Sound: containing about 10 acres, 3 roods, for a landing place.
A block of land, situate in the District of Mahakipawa, being section No. 58, bounded on the North by a stream; on the East and South by section No. 26; and on the West by the waters of the Pelorus Sound: containing about 1 acre, 1 rood, for a landing place.
Town of Picton.
A block of land, situate in the Town of Picton, being town sections Nos. 246 and 495, containing about 2 roods, as a reserve for a road.
A block of land, situate in the Town of Picton, being town section No. 498, containing about one rood.
A block of land, situate in the Town of Picton, being town sections Nos. 574, 575, 576, 577, 578, 579, and parts of 573 and 580, containing about 1 acre, 3 roods, as an addition to the Cemetery.
A block of land, situate in the Town of Picton, bounded towards the North by Broadway; towards the East by York Street; towards the South by section 634; and towards the West by section 633; containing about 21 perches, for a pound.
Waitohi Valley.
A block of land, situate in Waitohi Valley, bounded towards the North by section No. 44; towards the East partly by a public road, and partly by sections Nos. 41 and 43; and towards the South and West by section No. 43: containing about 82 acres.
Village of Tua Marina.
A block of land, situate in the Village of Tua Marina, being section No. 10, containing 2 acres, 20 perches.
A block of land, situate in the Village of Tua Marina, being section No. 25, containing about 2 acres, 3 roods, 8 perches, for a reserve for a Cemetery.
A block of land, situate in the Village of Tua Marina, being section No. 26, containing about 1 acre, 1 rood.
