PROCLAMATION
By His Honour THOMAS CARTER, Esq.,
Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough.
WHEREAS W. D. H. BAILLIE, Esq., Speaker of the Provincial Council of Marlborough, did on the 25th day of March last, declare and notify that I, THOMAS CARTER, was duly elected by a majority of the Provincial Council of Marlborough, Superintendent of the said Province.
Now, therefore, I do hereby Proclaim and declare that I have assumed the Office of Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough accordingly, and I hereby call upon the inhabitants of the said Province, to aid and assist me therein.
