APPLICATIONS for DEPASTURING LICENSES,
in accordance with the Land Regulations, 1st July 1856, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands before the 18th day of March, 1862.

District—Kaituna Valley.
Boundaries— On the North by Okaramio Valley; on the East by the Run previously applied for by J. Gibson; on the South by M. Maher’s Run, and surveyed sections; on the West by the Kaituna Road.
Estimated Extent—Under 10,000 Acres.
Deposit Paid—£15.

District—Clarence.
Boundaries— North-east by the South-western boundary of William Atkinson’s Run; South-east by the River Clarence; South-west by the Eastern boundary of T. Carter’s old Run; and North-west by the Eastern boundary of T. Carter’s new Run, and by a line drawn from the North-eastern point of the said Run to the Western point of William Atkinson’s Run.
Estimated Extent—Under 10,000 Acres.
Deposit Paid—£15.
Boundaries of the above Runs not to be definitely settled until plans of the Runs have been sent in as required by the Regulations.

IT is notified that the undermentioned portion of the Waste Lands of the Crown within the Province of Marlborough, as hereinafter described, have been Reserved for a Sheeping Reserve in accordance with the “Waste Land Regulations, 1856,” viz:
All that portion of Land in the District of Kaikoura, in the said Province of Marlborough, lying between the Eastern and Western branches of the River Khantara, including the two spurs on the Green Hills Run, in the occupation of Messrs. Keene; estimated extent about 4,000 acres.

IT is notified that the undermentioned portion of the Waste Lands of the Crown within the Province of Marlborough, as hereinafter described, have been Reserved as a Cemetery, in accordance with the provisions of the “Land Regulations, 1856,” viz:
All that piece or parcel of land in the District of Picton Suburban, bounded on the North by Suburban Section No. 4, in the said District of Picton Suburban; on the West by Crown Land; on the South partly by Suburban Sections numbered 28 and 30, in the said district, and partly by Suburban Crown Land; and on the East by Gravesend Place, in the town of Picton—containing about twenty acres.

WHEREAS a vacancy exists in the Education Board for the Educational District of Wairau Valley, I hereby notify, in accordance with the provisions of the “Education Act,” Session III., No. 1, that I have appointed SATURDAY, the 29th day of March inst., at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the Nomination and Election of a Member of the Education Board for the said District of Wairau Valley.
