PROVINCE OF MARLBOROUGH.

Crown Land Office,
18th March, 1862.

WHEREAS a decision was on the 11th of June, 1861, given in favour of Henry Handyside on his application for a Run in the District of Queen Charlotte Sound, bounded on the North by Gore's Harbour and Cook Straits; on the East by Cook Straits; on the South by Queen Charlotte Sound and Endeavour Inlet; and on the West by the North-east boundary of R. Blaymires' application: And whereas the said Henry Handyside, not having deposited at this office any certificate or plan of the same within nine months from the date of the said decision, in accordance with the Land Regulations now in force in this Province, I do hereby declare the said Run to be open to be applied for by any other person.

IT is hereby notified that the undermentioned portions of the Waste Lands of the Crown, within the Province of Marlborough, have been reserved for purposes of general utility, in accordance with the β€œWaste Land Regulations, 1856,” viz.:
The Islands in Queen Charlotte Sound known as Motuara Island and Long Island.
