THE following Bill passed by the Pro-
vincial Council of Wellington, in-
tituled
“An Act to authorise the Superintendent
to raise a further Loan of Twenty-
five Thousand Pounds,”
which Bill was reserved for the signifi-
cation of the Governor’s pleasure thereon,
having been laid before the Governor,
His Excellency has been pleased to assent to the same.

vincial Council of the Province of
Wellington, intituled—
“An Act to empower the Superinten-
dent to erect a Toll Gate at Kai-
wara-wara.”
“The Provincial Auditors Salaries Act,
1862.”
“An Act to appoint Commissioners to
adjust the amounts payable by the
Provinces of Wellington and Hawke’s
Bay in discharge of the Loans
raised by the Province of Welling-
ton as originally constituted, and for
the adjustment of all matters of ac-
counts between the two Provinces.”
“The Appropriation Act, No. 1, 1862.”
“The Slaughter House Act, 1862.”
“An Act to amend and consolidate
the law relating to Scab, Catarrh,
and Sheep Inspectors.”
“An Act to regulate the Traffic on
Public Highways.”
“The Appropriation Act, No. 2,
1862-3.”
having been laid before the Governor,
His Excellency has been pleased to leave
the same to their operation.
