Waste Lands Regulations, notice is
hereby given, that the undermentioned
CLAIMS for RUNS will be HEARD at
this Office, on FRIDAY, the 27th day of
July next, at Noon.

ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF WAIRAU.

NOTICE is hereby given that a COURT
will be held for REVISING the
LIST of VOTERS for the District
of Wairau, in the Province of Marlborough,
at the COURT HOUSE, BLENHEIM,
on THURSDAY, the 26th day of July,
1860, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, when
The Claims of Persons objected to will
be heard and determined.
And the names of persons, whose christian
names, places of abode, or qualifications,
shall be wholly omitted, or insufficiently
described for the purpose of identification,
will be expunged, unless such omissions or
descriptions are supplied to the satisfaction
of the Revising Officer, before he shall have
completed the revision of such List of
Voters.

NOMINATION of CANDIDATES

in the Provincial Council of the Province
of Marlborough, is POSTPONED until the
16th instant, and the day of Polling until
the 19th instant.

ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF UPPER
WAIRAU, IN THE PROVINCE OF
MARLBOROUGH, NEW ZEALAND.

In pursuance of the provisions of an Act
of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “The Regulation of Elections
Act, 1858,” and of another Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “The Provincial Elections Act, 1858,”
I, Stephen Lunn Muller, Esq., Returning
Officer of the Electoral District of Upper
Wairau aforesaid, DO HEREBY GIVE
NOTICE, that by virtue of a Writ bearing
date the Twenty-seventh day of June, 1860,
issued under the hand of His Honour the
Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough aforesaid, an Election will be held
for the Return of a qualified person to
serve as a Member of the Provincial Council
for the said Electoral District; and that the NOMINATION
of CANDIDATES will take place at the
DELTA DAIRY, OMAKA VALLEY, on
MONDAY, the Sixteenth Day of July,
1860, at Noon: And that the Poll (if
necessary) will be taken on THURSDAY,
the Nineteenth day of July, 1860, Polling
to commence at the hour of Nine o’clock in
the morning, and to close at the hour of
Four o’clock in the afternoon.
