PROCLAMATION.
By JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, Session 12, No. 1, it is amongst other things enacted that the Superintendent may from time to time by Proclamation appoint Pounds and Poundkeepers at such places as he may think fit; and at any time annul such appointment and make others.
Now, therefore, I, JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby appoint
GEORGE MAYO
Poundkeeper of the Public Pound hereby appointed, situate upon the Orere Block, south side of Wairoa, property of said George Mayo.
Given under my hand and seal of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, this 29th day of October, 1874.

direction to the nearest point of the Seventy-Mile Bush; thence along the edge of that bush to the Great North Road; and thence along the west boundary of that road in a northerly direction to the Tukipo River; thence down that river to its junction with the Tuki Tuki, and down that river to the Main South Road, following along that road to the Waipawa river, and down that river to its junction with the Tuki Tuki, crossing that river and following down its southern bank to its junction with the Mangatarata stream at the starting point.
Central Ruataniwha District.
Bounded towards the North by the Waipawa River, on the East by the Public Road from Waipawa to Waipukurau, on the South by the Tuki Tuki to its junction with the Tukipo, thence following the Tukipo to its source, and on the West by the Western boundary of the Province.
