as he shall appoint as his Deputy, to call out for training and exercise, the whole or any part or number of any Regiment, Corps, or Company, as he shall think fit; and, whereas, His Excellency Sir George Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, has, by Warrant under his hand, dated the eighteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine, appointed me to be his Deputy for that purpose. In pursuance and exercise of the authority so delegated, I do hereby call out the whole of the Militia of the Napier District for training and exercise.
Given under my hand at Napier, this twenty-eighth day of September, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

CROWN GRANTS.
THE undermentioned Deeds of Grant, having been duly executed, are now ready for delivery at this Office, under the authority of the "Crown Grants Act, 1866."
A Fee of Sixpence is chargeable on each Crown Grant for every month during which it shall remain in this Office after the expiration of three months from the date of this notice.
