MIDDLE DISTRICT.
In the matter of the Petition of James Stewart, of Napier, in the Province of Hawke’s Bay, Publican, and in the matter of the Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862.
Upon reading the Petition of the above-named James Stewart, the affidavit thereto annexed, and upon hearing Mr. Lee of Counsel for the said debtor—It is ordered that a Meeting of Creditors be held on the 22nd day of February next, at the office of the Hawke’s Bay Steam Navigation Company (Limited), at Napier, for the purpose of Creditors recommending a Trustee and mode of winding up the Estate, and that the said petitioner do attend such Meeting if required: And it is further ordered that until further order of this Court that sequestration of the Estate and effects of the said petitioner be granted to Brooke Taylor, Esquire, Deputy Registrar of this Court.

In the matter of the Petition of Samuel Begg, of Napier, in the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in the Colony of New Zealand, Merchant; William Maltby, of the same place, Merchant; William Routledge, of the same place, Merchant; and John Stuart, also of the same place, Auctioneer; Creditors of James Doherty, late of Napier, aforesaid, Baker, to the extent of not less than fifty pounds; and in the Matter of the Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act 1862.
On the fifth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.
Upon reading the Petition of the said Samuel Begg, William Maltby, William Routledge, and John Stuart; and upon reading the affidavits of William Maltby, Edward Lyndon, John Nathaniel Wilson, and Patrick Flanagan, sworn and filed herein; and upon hearing Mr. Izard as counsel for the petitioners: It is Ordered that an interim sequestration of the Estate and Effects of the said James Doherty be granted to Edward Lyndon, of Napier aforesaid, until the eighth day of August next, or until further notice of this Court; and it is further Ordered that leave be granted to the said James Doherty in the meantime to apply to rescind or vary the said Order; and it is further Ordered that the hearing of the said petition be held at the Supreme Court House, Napier, on Friday, the fourth day of August next.

Monday, the 30th day of January, 1865.
Upon reading the petition of Thomas Dillon Smith, of Napier aforesaid, Cabinet-maker, and the affidavits of the said Thomas Dillon Smith, of John Nathaniel Wilson, and Thomas Symes,—It is ordered that a sequestration of all the Estate and Effects of the said John Mason be made to Edward Lyndon, of Napier, Accountant. And it is ordered that the hearing of the said petition be held at the Supreme Court House, Napier, on Friday, the fourth day of August next.
