PROCLAMATION.

By his Honor JOHN CHILTON LAMBTON CARTER, Esq.,
Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS, by an Act passed in the first Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington, and now in force within the Province of Hawke’s Bay, intituled "An Act to make further provisions relative to Fencing within the Districts of the Province," it is enacted that the Superintendent of the Province, should, whenever it should appear to him expedient, declare by Proclamation, that the said Act should come into operation within any Town or District of the Province, and by the same Proclamation declare the limits of such Town or District:

Now therefore I, John Chilton Lambton Carter, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay do hereby Proclaim and Declare that the said above-mentioned Act shall come into operation within the following boundaries, viz.:

• North by Boundary of Capt. Henton’s Run
• North-East by Suburban line of the Western side of Harbour, and Warerangi Native Reserve
• East by Warerangi Reserve and Puketapu Road
• South by Meanee River, and
• West by Mangaone River.

PROCLAMATION.

I, JOHN CHILTON LAMBTON CARTER, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby Proclaim that a Sale of Crown Lands will take place at the Crown Lands Office, Napier, on Tuesday, 12th August, 1862, at Noon precisely, when the Allotments of Land specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed, and which have been duly certified by the Commissioner of Crown Lands on the application of intending purchasers, as being unavailable for agricultural purposes, will be put up to Public Auction at the upset price of 5s. per acre, in accordance with the Land Regulations of the 4th March, 1853, and the additional Regulations for the Amendment and Extension of the said Regulations, recommended by the Superintendent and the Council of the Province of Wellington (Session 2) to the Governor.
