His Excellency the Governor, desiring to me the power of appointing and removing Returning Officers, and of appointing and establishing Polling Places for the election of members of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay, do hereby, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by the said Warrant, appoint the undermentioned places to be Polling Places for the respective Electoral Districts hereinafter specified, and in accordance with the Schedule of the Provincial Council Enlargement Act, Session 3, No. 2, of the Province of Hawke's Bay.

LIST OF NEW ELECTORAL POLLING PLACES.

Town of Napier.
Principal Polling Place—Resident Magistrate's Court House.

Napier Country District.
Principal Polling Place—Mr. H. S. Tiffen's barn, Greenmeadows.
Polling Places—Mr. Gray's House, Puketapu; School House, Petane.

Clive.
Principal Polling Place—Mr. Ferguson's Store, Clive.
Polling Place—Mr. Bourke's Store, Havelock.

Te Aute.
Principal Polling Place—Rev. S. Williams' Wool-shed, Te Aute.
Polling Places—Court House, Waipawa; Mr. Oliver's Wool-shed, Doonside, Marackakaho.

Waimarama.
Principal Polling Place—Mr. E. S. Curling's Wool-shed, Oero.
Polling Place—Mr. Nairn's Wool-shed, Pourerere.

Waipukurau.
Principal Polling Place—Mr. Purvis Russell's Wool-shed, Woburn.
Polling Places—Mr. Tucker's Wool-shed, Ashcott; Mr. Tanner's Out-station, Hampden.

Porangahau.
Principal Polling Place—Messrs. Hunter's Wool-shed, Porangahau.
Polling Place—Mr. Ormond's Wool-shed, Wallingford.

Mohaka.
Principal Polling Place—Messrs. Riddell's House, Mohaka.

S C H E D U L E.

MOHAKA.
COMMENCING at the Sea Coast at the thirty-ninth degree of South latitude; following the Sea Coast in an Easterly and Southerly direction to the mouth of the Waitakare; then up the Waikare to its source; and from thence an imaginary line to where the thirty-ninth degree of South latitude strikes the North West boundary of the Province; then following the boundary of the Province to the Sea Coast.

NAPIER COUNTRY DISTRICT.
COMMENCING at the Sea Coast at Waitakare, following the Sea Coast to as far as Sections sixty-eight and sixty-nine Meanee Spit in the Town of Napier; then across the Ahuriri Harbour to the mouth of that river to that point in its course where it intersects the Western boundary of the Province; then along that boundary in a Northerly direction to the Southern boundary of the Mohaka District; then thence following the said Southern boundary to the Sea Coast at Waikare.

TOWN OF NAPIER.
THE boundary commences at the North-ern side of Sections numbers sixty-eight and sixty-nine Meanee Spit in the Town of Napier, and crosses Ahuriri Harbour to the mouth of the River Meanee or Tutackuri, and follows the bank of the said River to Awatoto; thence by a due East line to the Sea Coast, and along the Sea Coast in a Northerly direction to the point opposite the Northern side of Sections sixty-eight and sixty-nine Meanee Spit.

TE AUTE.
COMMENCING at the Sea Coast at the Southern boundary of the Town of Napier, following the Sea Coast Southerly to the old mouth of the River Ngaruroro; up that River to Louisa Creek; from thence following the boundary of the Mata block to the Tukituki or Alma; following up that River to Waipawa; up the Waipawa to the mouth of the Manga-o-nuku; then the Manga-o-nukut o its source; and from thence a line so as to include the Kereru Bush, and from the Kereru Bush proceeding due West to the Western boundary of the Province; along the boundary of the Province proceeding Northerly to the South-west point of the Napier Country District; following down that boundary and the Southern boundary of the Town of Napier to the Sea.

CLIVE.
COMMENCING at the Sea Coast at the old mouth of the River Ngaruroro, near Waitangi; following the Sea Coast in a Southensterly direction to the mouth of the Maractotara at Awanga, following the Maractotara for the Eastern boundary to the Native Path from Kohiniraku to Waimarama; from thence keeping the path to Mangarara; down that Stream to the Tukituki or Alma; crossing which the boundary follows the South and West boundary of the Mata Block to
