Leaving 1400 acres at Mohaka un-
staked.

The Kereru bush has been divided
into sections and is now ready to be put
up to auction.

The Ruahine block has been surveyed
and the map will be completed in 2 or
3 weeks time, when the day on which
the block will be thrown open may be
notified.

The survey of the Tautane block is
in progress. Mr. Hughes reports to me
that he has come upon some open land
near Te Awaputahi. I hope the sur-
vey of this block will be completed by
the end of February.

The reserved portion of the Ahuriri
block will be commenced immediately;
