THE following Tenders for constructing Dredging Punts for the Provincial Government are published for general information.
Tenders Accepted.
Daniel Simpson, for the sum of £72 each.
Messrs. Smith and Frazer, for the sum of £78 10s. each.
Henry Meech, at the rate of £5 per ton.
Tenders Rejected.
Wm. Carr, for the sum of £51 18s., delivered in Auckland.
Messrs. Rolph and Smith, at the rate of £137 and £107 each respectively.
C. Nelson, at the rate of £122 and £133 each respectively.
Richard M'Roberts, at the rate of £120 and £135 each respectively.

NOTICE is hereby given that in consequence of extensive improvements made on Sections Nos. 13, 14, and 27 of the Okawa Block, by Thomas Lowry, Esq., the Licensed occupant of the Okawa Run (during the time the Title to the land was in dispute with the Natives, and subsequently by the consent of the Government,) the following valuation for improvements will have to be paid to him on the Sections above named, in addition to the rate of 10s. per acre or such higher rate as the land may bring if put to auction,
