HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it
to be notified that he has made the
following Reserves temporarily under the
19th Clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, for Gravel Pits, viz:—

No. 1869 (in red).—Five acres, situate in
the Malvern District, having frontage
to and being bounded on the southeastward by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Reserve 1820
(in red) on the southward by that
Reserve, on the north-eastward by
section 19538, and on the north-westward by a line at right angles to
the north-eastern boundary, to include the required quantity.

No. 1870 (in red).—Five acres, situate in
the Malvern District, bounded on
the northward by Reserve 1820 (in
red), on the eastward by the road
east of that Reserve, on the southward by Section
, and on the
westward by a line at right angles to
the southern boundary, to include
the required quantity.

No. 1871 (in red).—Five acres, situate in
the Malvern District, having frontage
to and being bounded on the eastward by the road east of Section
21078, on the southward by that Section, on the northward by a line five
chains distant from and parallel to
the southern boundary, and on the
westward by a line at right angles to
the southern boundary, to include the
required quantity.


No. 1872 (in red).—Two acres, one rood,
more or less, situate in the Malvern
District, bounded on the eastward by
the road forming part of the south-eastern boundary of Sections 19042
and 19043, on the north-westward by
those Sections, and on the southward
by a road running through those
sections.

HIS Honor the Superintendent, in pursuance of certain powers vested in
him by “The Empowering Ordinance, Session II, No. 2,” directs it to be notified that
the Footpaths hereinafter described having
been well and sufficiently made and completed for the use and accommodation of
foot passengers, according to the provisions of “The Footpaths’ Ordinance, Session VIII,
No. 12,” are hereby declared to be public
footpaths, and from and after the date hereof
shall be deemed and taken accordingly to be
public footpaths within the meaning of the
said Ordinance.

The said footpaths are as follows:—

North Road, on the east side thereof,
commencing at the south-west corner
of Rural Section 46, and running
thence on the east side of the North
Road to the north-west corner of
Rural Section 136.

Papanui, commencing at the south-east
corner of section 203, thence along
the west side of the North Road
through Papanui to the north-east
corner of Section 3.
