PROCLAMATION.
I, William Rolleston, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Canterbury Trespass of Cattle Ordinance, 1872," and in pursuance of a recommendation to that effect from the Provincial Council, do hereby, with the advice and consent of my Executive Council, declare that the district comprised within the Eyreton Road Board District shall be an agricultural district within the meaning of the said Ordinance.
Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this 22nd day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

Now, therefore, I, William Rolleston, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby declare an uniform rate of ninepence in the £ to be leviable within the said district under the provisions of the 42nd section of "The Education Ordinance, 1873;" and I do hereby appoint
Joseph Ward,
as the person to whom the said rate shall be paid.
Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this 24th day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

NOTICE.
"THE PROTECTION OF ANIMALS' ACT, 1873."
His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has, in pursuance of the powers delegated to him under "The Protection of Animals' Act, 1873," appointed the following persons to act as rangers within the province of Canterbury:—
Robert Mackay, Raincliffe, Timaru,
Henry Barnett, Le Bou’s Bay.

WHEREAS the owners and occupiers of land and householders in the Educational District of Prebbleton have failed, within the time limited for that purpose by the Board of Education, to contribute and pay to the Provincial Treasurer the amount fixed by the Board as the contribution of the said district for school purposes:
Now, therefore, I, William Rolleston, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby declare an uniform rate of one shilling in the £ to be leviable within the said district, under the provisions of the 42nd section of "The Education Ordinance, 1873," and I do hereby appoint
Henry Brake,
as the person to whom the said rate shall be paid.
Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this 24th day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.
