PROCLAMATION.

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, do hereby, on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, assent to "The Imprest Supply Ordinance, No. 2, 1875."

has been appointed an Inspector of Schools for the Province.

"THE PROTECTION OF ANIMALS ACT, 1873."

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has, in pursuance of the powers delegated to him under "The Protection of Animals Act, 1873," appointed the following persons to act as Rangers within the Province of Canterbury:

Henry Piper, Duvauchelles Bay.
John E. Thacker, Okains Bay.
C. A. Cunningham, Loburn.
H. Fech, Templeton.
H. Washbourne, Jun., Selwyn.
Joseph Judge, Tai Tapu.
