THOMAS OTTERY RAYNTH,
Returning Officer at the Election of a Member of the Timaru and Gladstone Board of Works for the Geraldine District; and further, that he has appointed the Temuka Road Board Office and the Geraldine Road Board Office as Polling Places for the said Election.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that the Provincial Government Offices will be closed on Good Friday, on Saturday, the 27th inst., and on Easter Monday and Tuesday; also that there will be no sitting of the Waste Lands Board on Monday, the 29th inst.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserve temporarily until the next session of the Provincial Council, viz.—
No. 1873 (in red)—Thirty-one acres, more or less, situate in the Mandeville District, bounded on the northward by sections Nos. 3660 and 3744 on the eastward by the latter section on the south-eastward by Reserve No. 698 (in red), on the southward by Section No. 826, and on the westward by Sections Nos. 3660, 1485, 826, and also by a line drawn across the mouth of the Swampy Creek or gully dividing the two last mentioned sections, save and except Reserve No. 873A (in red), which is included within the above described boundaries—for Public purposes.
