PROCLAMATION.

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury,

in pursuance of the powers vested in me by "The Protection of Animals Act, 1873,"
and by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Province,
do hereby proclaim that from and after
the date hereof black swans shall come within
the provisions of the said Act relating to
Native Game.

Given under my hand at Christchurch,
this 23rd day of March one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

PROCLAMATION UNDER "THE PROTECTION OF ANIMALS ACT, 1873."

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury,

by virtue of the powers vested in me by
"The Protection of Animals Act, 1873," do
hereby, by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said Province, proclaim and appoint the following months in
which "Native Game" as defined in the
said Act, shall be hunted, shot, taken, or
killed, within the Province of Canterbury,
namely, the months of April, May, June,
and July.

Given under my hand at Christchurch
this 24th day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs
it to be notified that he has, in pursuance of the powers delegated to him
under "The Protection of Animals Act,
1873," appointed the following persons to
act as Rangers within the Province of Canterbury:—
