PROCLAMATION.
I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me under the 27th section of "The Education Ordinance, 1873," do hereby with the advice and consent of the Executive Council abolish the Upper Ashburton Education District.
Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this 18th day of November, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the owners and occupiers of land and householders in the Educational District of Christchurch West have failed within the time limited for that purpose by the Board of Education to contribute and pay to the Provincial Treasurer the amount fixed by the Board as the contribution of the said district for school purposes:
Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby declare an uniform rate of ninepence in the £ to be leviable within the said district under the provisions of the 42nd section of "The Education Ordinance, 1873," and I do hereby appoint
GEORGE ARMSTRONG
as the person to whom the said rate shall be paid.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership lately existing between the undersigned, under the style or firm of "The New Zealand Provision and Produce Company," is dissolved by mutual consent, and that the business of the said Company will hereafter be transacted by the undersigned JAMES M'NEIGHT WATT.
