I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursu-
ance of the powers vested in me by "The Education Ordinance, 1873," and
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby authorise the
undermentioned persons on and after the 24th September, 1874, to sue in the name of the
Superintendent for the payment of the rates due under the provisions of the 42nd and 55th
clauses of "The Education Ordinance, 1873," in the several Educational Districts set oppo-
site to their names.

Given under my hand at Christchurch this 21st day of September, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-four.
