No. 1716, in red—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton district, taking frontage of five chains to the South Road and railway reserve, and extending back south-easterly 10 chains in a rectangular block N.E. of and adjoining the road N.E. of section 21500. For a gravel pit.
No. 1717, in red—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton district, taking frontage of five chains to the South Road and railway reserve, and extending back south-easterly 10 chains in a rectangular block south-west of and adjoining the road forming the south-west of section 21,049. For a gravel pit.
No. 1718, in red—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton district; bounded on the north-westward by the South Road and railway reserve; on the eastward by the road meeting the said road and railway reserve about 41 chains southwest of Trig. pole 53a, and on the south-westward by a line drawn at right angles to north-west boundary, so as to contain the above quantity. The above reserve is within temporary reserve No. 1371, in red. For a gravel pit.
No. 1719, in red—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton district, taking frontage of five chains to the South Road and railway reserve, and extending back south-easterly 10 chains in a rectangular block; situate about midway between reserves 1448 in red and 1718 in red. The above reserve is within temporary reserve No. 1371 in red. For a gravel pit.
No. 1720, in red—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton district, taking frontage of five chains to the main South Road, and extending south-easterly 10 chains in a rectangular block. The north-east corner of this reserve is situate about 48 chains south-west of the junction of the main South Road with the railway reserve. The above reserve is in the temporary reserve No. 1371, in red. For a gravel pit.
No. 1721, in red—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton district, taking frontage of five chains to the main South Road, and extending south-easterly 10 chains in a rectangular block. The north-east corner of this reserve is situate about 13 1/4 chains south-west of the south-west corner of reserve 1449, in red. The above reserve is within temporary reserve No. 1371, in red. For a gravel pit.
No. 1722, in red—Five acres, more or less situate in the Ashburton district; bounded on the north-westward by the main South Road; on the south-westward by the Rangitata Road north; on the south-eastward by a line 10 chains distant from and parallel to the north-west boundary, and on the north-eastward by a line drawn at right angles to north-west boundary, so as to include the required quantity. The above reserve is within temporary reserve No. 1371, in red. For a gravel pit.
No. 1724, in red—Six acres, more or less, situate in the town of Akaroa, bounded on the westward by the western boundary of the town above-mentioned; on the north-westward by section 45, and by the Beach Road; on the north-eastward by the same section, and by Aylmer street, and on the southward and eastward by South street. For recreation ground.
